Oskari (GitHub) is a open source product for creating geoportals built on top of distributed spatial data infrastructure (like INSPIRE) and is currently incubating for becoming an OSGeo project. This talk is a year in review of what has happened on the technical side of the project and our experiences so far including these highlights:

• Migrating from jQuery to React and Grunt to Webpack
• Mapbox vector tile support
• WFS 3.0 support
• Thematic maps with time series
